. Activities .

An important part of any school is to have activities
inside and outside of the classroom.

Throughout the school year, we at Kinmon Gakuen provide
a variety of activities for all of our students to
participate in. We have activities during school hours
and on Sundays. *Note* These activities are voluntary.

All of our activities would not have been possible without
parent participation. We must say, this year, we have
made break-throughs due to our dedicated parents. During
the Parent Club Meetings, the parents gather over coffee
and cookies to discuss issues and topics that come up.
They also plan events for the children to participate
in. Also, parents must earn "Volunteer Points" throughout
the school year. There are many ways to earn these points.

Check out the following list of activities our students
participated in during the 2001-2002 school year:

*March with Omikoshi during Cherry Blossom Parade
*Booksale fundraiser outside of Kinokuniya Bookstore
*Traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony (Cha-no-yu)
